1. Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (KWL)
International Flights: Limited direct flights from major Asian hubs like Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Tokyo.
Domestic Flights: Well-connected to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Xi’an. Book via airlines like China Eastern, Air China, or Spring Airlines.
Airport to City Center: Taxis (¥80–¥120, 40 mins) or airport shuttle buses (¥20, 1 hour).
Tip: Fly into larger hubs (Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou) first if coming from Europe or the Americas, then connect to Guilin.
By High-Speed Train
Guilin is part of China’s extensive high-speed rail network:
From Guangzhou: 2.5–3 hours (¥165–¥230).
From Shenzhen: 3–3.5 hours (¥200–¥280).
From Hong Kong: Take the MTR to Guangzhou South Station first, then transfer (total ~4 hours).
From Chengdu/Chongqing: 5–7 hours (¥400–¥600).
