How To Get To And From The Airport To Our Retreat
By air
Chongqing is served by Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG), a major hub with direct and one-stop connections from many Asian and international cities.
From within China: Frequent direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and more.
From abroad: Most travelers connect through major hubs such as Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, or Singapore.
By train (within China)
China’s high-speed rail network makes Chongqing easy to reach from many cities:
Chengdu: ~1.5–2 hours
Xi’an: ~5–6 hours
Shanghai / Beijing: overnight or daytime high-speed options available
Trains arrive at multiple stations in the city; all are well connected by metro and ride-hailing.
From the airport / train station to the city
Metro, taxi, and ride-hailing (DiDi) are widely available
Travel time to central neighborhoods is typically 30–60 minutes, depending on location and traffic
We’ll share detailed arrival instructions and neighborhood guidance closer to the retreat start date to make arrival smooth and stress-free.
