Affiliate Terms & Conditions

These Affiliate Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the China Digital Nomads Affiliate Program. By promoting our retreats and using an affiliate link or referral method, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Affiliate Program
China Digital Nomads (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an affiliate program that rewards approved affiliates for referring participants to our retreats.
Affiliates may earn commissions on qualifying retreat bookings in accordance with the rules below.
2. Commission Structure
Affiliates earn 10% commission on qualifying retreat sales
Commissions apply only to 2-week, 3-week, and 4-week retreat packages
1-week packages are not eligible for affiliate commissions
No single affiliate reward will exceed $200 USD, regardless of booking value
Commission amounts are calculated based on the net retreat fee paid by the participant, excluding taxes, fees, optional excursions, or add-ons.
3. Tracking & Attribution
Affiliate referrals are tracked via unique referral links or approved tracking methods
Tracking is valid for 30 days from the first click
A commission is credited only if the participant completes a paid booking within the tracking window
If multiple affiliates refer the same participant, last-click attribution applies unless otherwise stated
China Digital Nomads is not responsible for tracking issues caused by cookie blocking, browser settings, or user behavior.
4. Payment of Commissions
Affiliate commissions are earned only for confirmed and retained bookings
Commissions are not final until the retreat passes the final refund window
Payout Timing
Affiliate payouts are issued 25 days before the retreat start date, after the final refund window (30 days prior) has closed
This ensures that bookings are no longer eligible for refunds before commissions are paid
If a booking is refunded, canceled, or charged back before payout, the associated affiliate commission is void.
Affiliates are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations related to their earnings. Payment method and payout details will be communicated separately.
5. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates may not:
Make false or misleading claims about the retreat
Imply guaranteed outcomes or experiences
Use spam, deceptive marketing, or misleading ads
Bid on branded keywords (e.g. “China Digital Nomads”) without written permission
Represent themselves as employees, partners, or official representatives
Violations may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
6. Use of Branding & Content
Affiliates may use approved brand assets and descriptions provided by China Digital Nomads. All usage must be respectful and accurate. We reserve the right to request content changes or removals.
7. Termination
China Digital Nomads may suspend or terminate affiliate participation at any time, with or without cause.
Upon termination:
Affiliate links must be removed
Unpaid commissions for refunded, disputed, or invalid bookings are forfeited
8. Limitation of Liability
China Digital Nomads shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages related to participation in the affiliate program.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Affiliate Terms from time to time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updates.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable law.
