Uber does not operate in China. China has a separate system built domestically for almost everything. In China, the most popular ride share app is DiDi (and English is available):

Please make sure to search “DiDi China” if you are searching the app store directly. “DiDi” itself is the international version available outside of China in some countries (like Latin America) but not for China.
